Verna Grace Hosker passed away peacefully at BGH on January 27, 2020 at age 91. She was the loving wife of Ken Hosker (predeceased in 1991). She is survived by two sons, Craig Thrasher (Ann) & Brian Thrasher, step children Cydnee Hosker (Andy), Frank Hosker & Kenneth Hosker predeceased, grandchildren Johnathon & Tyler Thrasher, Jennifer Prevost (Josh), Amanda Thrasher, Frances & Laurence Milner, Amber & Danielle Hosker, great grandchildren Vallery, Christina & Jessica Prevost, Charmella Hosker, Jasper Boyd, Raymond Jolicoeur & Harlen Manley.
Verna was born & raised in Trenton to Floyd & Kathleen Sandercock. She is predeceased by brother William Sandercock & is survived by sisters Margaret Woodcock, Betty St. Hilaire & Barbara Hagan.
Verna was employed at Northern Telecom for over 30 years, retiring in 1989. She had a wonderful memory for anyone’s birthday & anniversary whom she met. Verna moved to The Richmond Retirement Residence in 2002 & enjoyed participating in the many activities & trips they offered.
A celebration of life will be held at The Richmond on May 7th from 11 am to 1 pm.
The family thanks The Richmond and BGH for their care & compassion.
