Vern Tweedy 2020

Date: October 13th, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Vern Tweedy announces his unexpected passing on October 13, 2020.
Vern was born in Killam, Alberta on January 23, 1956 and grew up on the Tweedy farm north of Lougheed. In 1986, Vern married Judy and together they moved to Camrose in 1990, where Vern began his career in real estate.
Vern’s greatest joy in life was his sons, Griffin and Gage. He loved them dearly and treasured time spent with them; whether attending hockey games, cheering from the sidelines at soccer games or Taekwon-do competitions, or simply spending time together at home. He will be deeply missed by them both.
Vern is survived by his wife Judy; sons Griffin (Ashleigh) and Gage; brother Bryan (Debbie); nieces Dani (Irene) and Crystal (James); nephew Nathan (Justis) as well as extended family.
Vern was predeceased by his parents, James “Babe” and Jenny Mae Tweedy and son Jayden.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions a celebration of Vern’s life will take place on a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to S.T.A.R.S. or a charity of one’s choosing.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Vern Tweedy 2020..
