Obituary
Verda Berdemia McIntosh passed away peacefully into the presence of Jesus on October 17, 2020 at the age of 92 years. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her children Linda (Steven) Parkhurst of Summerland, BC and Laura (Ben) Shwetz of Stoney Plain, AB; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Art Walker and Wesley (Audrey) Walker, both of Prince George; foster children and their families: Leonard Dennis, Peggy Fraser, Terry Lea, Tom Lea, Muriel Sheffield (Arthur Marchese), Edward (Cheryl) Lea, Jane (Ed Olsen), Donald Lea, Melvin (Tricia) Lea, and Brenda Poulin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents Selma and A.J. Walker; husband Albert McIntosh; daughters Elizabeth McIntosh and Vera Carswell; sisters Bertha Bradeen, Celia McIntosh, and Rhoda Nelson; brother Robert Walker; and foster son Arthur Beaullieu.
Verda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Next to her faith in Jesus Christ was her love for her family.
A private family service will be taking place.
