Obituary of Vera Parsons
Parsons, Vera “Lynn”- 66 of Dartmouth, passed away April 3rd, 2020 in the QEII, Halifax. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, NS on December 8th, 1953 she is the daughter of the late Emerson and Rose (Holceche) Parsons.
Lynn worked 30 years at the Homebridge Youth Society and later achieved the position as manager at the Reigh Allen Center in Dartmouth. Her commitment to youth at risk was second to none and the outpouring recognition from her colleagues has been very comforting. she has many loving friends left behind whom were like a sister hood to her
She is survived by daughters Jillian Webb (David Eddy) and Chrystal Webb, grandchildren Dylan Webb, Bridgette Malcolm, Courtney Leopold and Hunter Eddy, her siblings Donna Jaillet (Archie), Lloyd Parsons, George Parsons and Louise Nicholson (Ronald), many nieces and nephews.
Lynn is predeceased by sister in law Debbie Parsons.
Cremation has taken place. Due to the current Nova Scotia Health regulations concerning the Covid19 Virus, there will be a service held at a later date. Donations in memory of Lynn may be made to the Homebridge Youth Society, 270 Pleasant St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 3S2.
