Sheldon, Velma “Jean” (nee Snider)
Jean passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Franklin Gardens Long Term Care Home, Leamington, ON, at the age of 91.
She was born in Leamington and was the daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (nee Raymond) Snider.
Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Sheldon (2003).
Loving mother of Nancy Froman & Paul Froman and Cindy Lou and Dorman Pollett.
Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son, David (1985), her daughter Susan Wheeler (2019), her son-in-law, Philip Wheeler and several brothers and sisters.
Jean was a member of the Friendship Club and T.O.P.S. She loved doing her ceramics and making greeting cards. She enjoyed Friday morning breakfast at the Car Barn.
The family will receive friends at the Kendrick Funeral Home – Wheatley Celebration Centre, 17 Little Street South, Wheatley, ON, on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2:30-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. .
The Funeral will be a private family service with an interment to follow at Erie Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Jean to the Hope Centre, Wheatley would be appreciated by the family.
