Obituary
It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Vaughn Nadeau on September 4, 2020. Vaughn is survived by her husband of 65 years Roland Nadeau, her children; Stephen Nadeau (Amy), Roly Nadeau (Lori), Kevin Nadeau (Denise), Beverly Roppel, Vivian Nadeau, Tracey Nadeau, her 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as her sister Beverly Whyte and nephews. Vaughn is predeceased by her daughter Terry, her parents Ruby & Earl Stephenson and son-in-law Gordon Roppel.
Vaughn was born in Ontario September 21, 1937 where she grew up with her sister Beverly. When she met Roland they were married at Niagara Falls and moved to Calgary to build a life together, after having and raising their children. Vaughn was involved in the ladies hockey team in the community of Fairview as well as softball Team.
Vaughn with her husband Roland then moved to Blind Bay, BC to build houses, after a few years they decided to return to Alberta to watch their grand children grow.
Vaughn was at her happiest when her family was by her side during their many family gatherings, she was always the glue that kept this crazy family together.
Vaughn and Roland were able to travel to Europe, Mexico, all over the USA and Canada.
Vaughn you will be missed, we will always remember you with all our wonderful memories. Love from your friends and family
Vaughn’s celebration of life will be held at a later date, it will be announced.
