May 9, 1944 – July 23, 2020
Val passed away suddenly on July 23rd at the age of 76. He was a loving father to Jodie Ely (Jason), and Lindsay Vaby (Jeffery Thornborrow) and an adoring grandfather to Keeleigh, Makayla, Aiden, Teagan, and Annabelle. He will be greatly missed by his sister Mary Cameron (Roy) and niece, Natasha Hudson (Luke Hughes). He is predeceased by his father Konstantine, mother Vera (nee Niekraszevicz) and sister Leonida.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 29th from 2-4 pm at the Pine View Golf Course located at 1471 Blair Rd in Gloucester.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart institute would be welcome. foundation.ottawaheart.ca/
