Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Trudy Mary McGinley announces her passing on Monday November 9, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in April of 1949 in Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Leo and Jeannie (Lavoie) Goguen.
In earlier years, Trudy worked as a resident attendant at St. Joseph’s Hospital and then as a loans officer with Prosper Credit Union. She was devoted to her children and her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all whom had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Richard McGinley; her children Glenn (Mary Beth) and Shannon (Andrew) Ervine both of Saint John; grandchildren Joshua, Zachary, Sophie and Lucas; brothers Maurice (Wanda) Goguen and Raymond (Mary Ann) Goguen both of Minto and Dale (Lana) Goguen of Quispamsis; sisters Annette O’Quinn of Vaughan, ON, Linda (Matthew) Bostick of Minto and Janeann Latham of Mississauga, ON.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Terry Goguen and granddaughter Hannah Grace McGinley Ervine.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. A celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday November 22, 2020 for immediate family only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Bobby’s Hospice.
