Tranquilina Lagria Abuda, passed away peacefully at the age of 94, surrounded by family in her family home in Ottawa. Daughter of the late Paula Ocado Lagria and Santiago Lagria. Predeceased by her husband Julian Tagab Abuda.
She is survived by her daughters Trifonia, Beatriz, Aurelia (and husband Norberto) and Julie, sons Glicerio and Teofanes (and wife Armida). In addition, grandchildren Eduard and Sandy (children of Beatriz), Dexter, Merven (and wife Sheila), Jessa and Norame (children of Aurelia), Ada Vaness (with husband Al Kim), Van Kirby (with wife Maricel) and Arfie Paulo (children of Teofanes). Tranquilina will be terribly missed by her great-grandchildren Dave Julian, Mischa, Ervey and Kian (children of Merven), Kent-Adriane, Samantha Adeline (children of Van Kirby) and Xylia (daughter of Ada Vaness). She will be missed dearly by Prellie, Kathy (and siblings in the Philippines), Jun and kids from Florida, Aida, Zenia, and all her nieces and nephews in the Philippines.
She was loved and cared for by many close family friends Lilil Bologa, Lina Laganson and daughter Lirca Laganson, Charissa Gobantes, Andre Benoist, Rita and family, Gloria and Salam El-Beyrouti (and kids), Leanilia’s family, Leonor and Danny Zamora (and kids), Luz, Marites and kids, Chuchie, Dinhoy and family, Dora, Paul, Patricia and the twins, Jo, Rady and family in Ajax. Tranquilina will also be missed by her many close friends and relatives in the Philippines and here in Ottawa.
Friends are invite to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa (at Aviation Parkway) on Sunday, January 10th from 1-8pm, and on Monday, January 11th from 11am – 12noon.
