Obituary of Tony Faseruk
FASERUK- Anthony “Tony” Michael of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in his 83rd year. Tony is survived by his loving wife Patricia (nee Grainger); by his two sons Dave (Charlotte Taylor) and Don (Nancy); and by his grandchildren Derek (Son Lancy Sem), Rashelle, Andrew, Abbie, and Sam. Predeceased by his sister Marie Anne Yaniuk. Tony was born in St. Malo, Manitoba. He worked at Canadian Timken in St. Thomas before retiring from the maintenance department at Caressant Care-Bonnie Place. Tony was a minor hockey coach for many years, he loved his pets, his music and playing guitar with the Caressant Care Combo Band, but most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his family. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will be held in Union United Church Cemetery. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at Central United Church when COVID-19 restrictions are withdrawn. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
