Obituary of Tonya Annette Sweetapple
It is with great sadness that the family and friends of, Tonya Annette Sweetapple (nee Hibbs), announce her sudden passing on September 2, 2020, at the age of 44 years.
Leaving to mourn are her husband, Jeff Sweetapple; beloved puppy, Bentley; parents, Stephen & Elaine Hibbs; brother, Troy Hibbs (Elizabeth); sister, Trinette Vincent (Gavin); sister, Terri-Lynn Anthony (Robert); Mother in-law, Joyce Sweetapple; brother in-law, Kirk Sweetapple (Glenna); brother in-law, Glenn Sweetapple(Lisa).
Nephews and Nieces: Gabriel, Faith, Noah, Abigail, Emma, Sophia, Caleb, Hunter, Hudson, Autumn, Kyle, Danielle, Sam, and Haley. Great Nephew: Luke. As well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Predeceased by: Grandparents Claude and Evelyn Hibbs; Grandfather, Doyle Tucker and Father in-law, Eldon Sweetapple.
Tonya had a huge love for music, family, and friends. Her smile and laugh would light up any room that she walked into and will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed.
Public visitation will take place: Saturday, September 5, 2020, 7:30pm-9:00pm and Sunday, September 6, 2020, 10:00am-11:00am at The Salvation Army Church, 125 Elmore Drive, Fort McMurray, AB.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Funeral service is limited to 50 people. Service will be streamed live from the Salvation Army Corps Facebook page.
Funeral Service will take place Sunday, September 6, 2020, 2:00pm.
Committal to take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wood Buffalo, immediately afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the Salvation Army Fort McMurray Corps, Children and Youth Ministries.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Robert Anderson Funeral Services, Fort McMurray.
