1920-2020
On Thursday, November 26, 2020, Mrs. Tillie Shwetz of Boyle, Alberta passed away in the Radway Continuing Care Centre at the age of 100 years.
Tillie Shwetz was born on June 1, 1920 in Sarrail, Alberta.
She leaves to mourn her loss her children; Jean Shwetz of Kelowna, BC, Viola (Randy) Jenson of Kelowna, BC, Leonard (Debbie) Shwetz of Henderson, Nevada, Virginia (Richard) Watling of Manville, AB, and Zolia (Philip) Rutherford of Calgary, AB, and son-in-law Noel O’Sullivan. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large group of friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jacob “Jack” Shwetz, three brothers; Nick, Fred, and Tony, three sisters; Nadie, Olga, and Tatina, and her eldest daughter Minnie Mary O’Sullivan.
Due to the recent heath pandemic, a private family service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at the Athabasca Community Chapel.
