Obituary of Thomas Bernard Wood
Wood, Thomas B. (Captain) “Woody” – 90 of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, passed away March 12, 2020. Born in Annapolis Royal, son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Neves) Wood. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Myrtle Wood; his children, Dean Wood and Dawn (Wood) Bourke; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a young man he joined the Merchant Marines; served in the Second World War; spent 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces with three posting overseas. Some of his favourite past times were listening to, learning and playing country music. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Honoring Woody’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations made in memory may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
