Thomas Warman
1937-2020
BASS RIVER, NB
– Thomas Warman 83, of Bass River passed away peacefully at
his home on Friday, August 21, 2020. Born in Bass River, he
was the son of the late Ralph Warman and late Ethel (Cochrane) Warman.
Starting from a young
age, Tommy could be found farming the
land and taking care of his livestock. He farmed all his
life and even up to a few months ago you could find him in the field
cutting hay or mending the fences that had fallen during the winter.
He was such a strong man, he fought a courageous battle so
that he could spend more time doing the things he loved most while
being surrounded by family.
Tommy will be sadly missed by his three daughters,
Brenda Warman (Craig) of Moncton, Jackie Warman (Jim) of Bass River,
Jodie Warman (Steven) of Moncton; two sons, Thomas Jr. Warman, Troy
Warman both of Bass River; six grandchildren, Josh, Andrea, Ariel,
Sam, Megan, Riley and six great grandchildren, Mason,
Caleb, Kristen, Quentin, Brea and
Ivory.
He is also survived by one sister,
Linda Cail (Leslie) of CailsMills; three brothers, Stephen
Warman of Moncton, Edgar Warman (Dorothy) of Port Elgin, Herman Warman
(Theresa) of Bass River and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, Hilda (Cail)
Warman; two grandsons, Dylan Warman,
Dalton Thompson; two sisters,
Helen Fearon, Kathleen
Warman and one brother, Howard
Warman.
In keeping
with Tommy’s wishes there will be no
visitation at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be
held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St.
Stephen’s United Cemetery
in Molus River.
The family wish to express a
sincere thank you to the staff at the Moncton Oncology Unit and also
to Tommy’s homecare workers, Verna
Forbes, and Patty LeFait for all their kind and compassionate
care. Also, thank you to
Sharon Forster for all the nightly visits
with Tommy.
