SHEEHAN, Thomas “Tom” 1941-2020
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tom Sheehan announces his peaceful passing on Monday, October 26th surrounded by his family at Moira Place LTC in Tweed, Ontario. Tom always had a cheerful hello and smile for everyone he met and was a friend to all. Tom is predeceased by his parents Gerald Sheehan and Agnes (Murray). Cherished husband of Erika (Hahn). Beloved father of Barbara Mullins (Kevin) and Thomas “T.J.” Sheehan (Jessica). Much loved “Poppa T” of Jack, Hunter, Keelie and Finn. Brother to Margaret “Peggy” McGovern, Patrick (deceased) and Jeremiah (deceased).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, Brighton on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at 11:00 am. Private Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby following the funeral mass.
Erika and family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Moira Place who lovingly helped to take care of Tom these past few years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince-Edward alzheimer.ca/hpe/ which provided comfort and support to Tom and family. Donations for this organization can also be made c/o Brighton Funeral Home, 613-475-2121.
