Thomas POST 2020

Thomas POST Saturday April 25, 2020
POST, Thomas Wilbur, “TW” (June 27,1920 – April 25, 2020) – An almost 100 year old visionary who’s inventions revolutionized an industry sustaining Norfolk for over two generations, left us April 25th, 2020 to be with the Lord. A Dover lad, who lived the delights of Silver Lake, childhood adventures on fish tugs like the M&K, married well, traveled much, helped others, supported good works, trusted in Christ and was much blessed by the Lord. An inductee in the Delhi Tobacco Museum for his Gas Magic Burner, Tobacco Humidifiers and his Continuous Curing System; he’s remembered by family, friends and many customers. Absent from the body, present with the Lord, Tom died in his home, family present, and has joined the loves of his life, the late Daisy Ereth Graham and Jean Latimer Gordier, safe in the arms of Jesus. He leaves behind and will be remembered by his children, Heather Domke (Richard), Jeanne Ransom (Fred), Graham Post (Esther), (Linda Allison Post), 7 grandchildren, Jeremy, Daphane, Kathryn, Nicholas, Thomas, Brandon and Candice Beth; numerous great grandchildren; a brother Keith, sister in law Janet; and Jean’s children, Linda (Gerry), Gail, Brian (Kathy), Norma (Ron), Jeanne (Bart), Jim (Kathy). An old fashioned funeral is planned in future but to honour his passing, please give flowers to the living; or donations to the Gideons, Alzheimer’s Society of H-N, or Doctors Without Borders. Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe, ON N3Y 3R3. Private Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.
