Theresa MacDonald (Taillon)
Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Palace LTC; Theresa MacDonald (née Taillon) of Alexandria on Friday, January 24, 2020 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Garry (MacIsaac) (2018). Predeceased by her parents, Rose Bedard and William Taillon. Dear sister of Roger Taillon (Alice) and the late Raymond Tyo (Louise). Proud mother of Joanne Lewis (Darrell), Glen (Susie), Catherine Gibaldi, Joyce (Sandy MacLeod), Donald, Roseanne Hansen (Tony) and John Alexander ‘Sandy’ (Nina).She will be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren; Cindy, Melissa, Felicia, Jennifer, Meaghan, Michael, Christopher, Shaun, Krystal, Marco, Nicholas, Sam and Thomas and 6 great-grandchildren; Josh, Dean, Asher, Devin, Xavier and Kira. Theresa will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday January 31, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11am. Spring Interment of cremated remains in St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Theresa, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
