Theresa Campre Okakie Cookie
On January 3, 2020, Theresa Campre Okakie Cookie of Edmonton, formerly of Fort McKay First Nation, passed away surrounded by her children at the age of 77 years.
Theresa is survived by two daughters and five sons, Yvette Campre, Robb Campre, Annette Campre, Maurice Campre, Donald Campre, Kevin Campre and Darryl Campre; nineteen grandchildren, Shancy, Chase, Brogan, Anna, Dianna, Nicole (Mark), Kieuhanh, Lee, Jordan, Marcus, Levi, Halaina, Ashley, Chaston, Ocean, Lucas, Breanna, Skyler and Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Shira, Kaylee, Joesiah and Ryann; and sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Campre. Predeceased by her husband, Yvon; and her brother, Charlie Cookie.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Wake January 13, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821 – 96 Street.
Funeral Service Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples with Father Mark Blom officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #220, 6223 – 2 Street SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 1J5.
