Theresa Mary Gallant
1939-2020
The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on
Thursday, May 7, 2020, of Theresa Mary Gallant, of the Rev. W.J.
Phillips Residence, Alberton, and formerly of Piusville, age 80 years.
Beloved wife of the late Oscar J. Gallant, who predeceased
her in 2017. Born at Piusville on July 6, 1939, she was the daughter
of the late Ted and Ida Gallant.
Theresa will be lovingly remembered by her children: Glen
(Debbie) of Saint John, N.B.; Ruby (Ronnie) of Saint John, N.B.; Tony
(Colleen) of Saint John, N.B.; Allan (Arlene) of Piusville; Brent
(Sharon) of Alberton; and Rosie (Ronnie) of
Summerside. Cherished Mamie to Tammy (Mark), Shelley, Tanya
(Ryan), Darcy (Melissa), Melissa (Steve), Sara (Matt), Andrea (James),
Paul (Kaley), Krista (Russell), Bradley (Kelsey) and Mitchell
(Evie). Great-grandmother to Isabelle, Katie, MacKenzie,
Caleb, Anthony, Brandon, Cameron and Jed.
She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Peter (Aldona),
Frank (Joanne), Elmer (Florence), Shirley (Norm), and Marina (Cyril).
She was predeceased by siblings, Delia (late Wilfred), Palma (late
Ron), Rev. Lawrence Gallant, OMI, and Clarence (late
Leona). She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law,
Ben (late Lois), and Mary (late Paul). She was predeceased by
brothers and sisters-in-law, Josie (Emily), Rose (Larry), Louise
(Henry), Evelyn (Edward), and Alyre (Rita).
Theresa was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony’s Roman
Catholic Church, Woodstock, and a lifetime member of St.
Anthony’s CWL.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Due
to the COVID-19 there will be no visiting hours. Complete funeral
arrangements will be announced at a later date and
time.
As an expression of sympathy memorials to St. Anthony’s
