Theresa’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Snook announce her passing on Thursday, November 26th, 2020 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with many loving and precious memories: son Leonard Jr. (Bonita); daughters: Mary Snook-Bungay, Leona Fitzpatrick, Anne-marie (Mike) Hynes; Lorraine Snook, Marilyn (Jeffrey) Tellac, Jacqueline (Wayne) Drover, Janice (Keith) Power, and Donna (Jerry) Oliver; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Theresa was predeceased by: husband Leonard Sr.; daughter Delores; son Gerard; and sons-in-law: Ambrose Bungay and Louis Fitzpatrick.
A funeral service, by invitation only, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Tea Cove.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to the Lourdes Grotto.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Emergency and Palliative Care Departments for their compassionate care of their beloved mother and grandmother. They would also like to say a special thank you to Theresa’s home care workers Susan Duffney and Sharleen Lagatdu for all their kindness and care.
