Terry Owen Rhodenizer Tuesday February 25th 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Owen Rhodenizer, 78, of Halifax, announce his passing on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at home.
Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Glenwood and Grace (Veinotte) Rhodenizer.
Terry spent his entire career in the grocery business, beginning with Dominion Stores, followed by forty years with National Importers as a sales rep for the international food sales department. He loved what he did and won sales rep of the year numerous times throughout his career. After retirement he continued in the grocery business, working part-time at the Sobeys location in Mill Cove. Terry loved curling and golf and was very proud of the fact he shot a hole in one on two consecutive days, a feat which made the local paper. In his spare time he also found enjoyment bird watching. He was a very generous person, always supporting any number of charities simply by their asking.
Terry is survived by his daughter-in-law Lucille, Lunenburg; grand-daughter Angela (Cory) Zinck, First South; great-grandsons, Owen and Nathan; aunt, Pauline Rhodenizer, Bridgewater; as well as several cousins.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Florence and son, Stephen.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
