Obituary of Tereza Kuzmanovitch
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Tereza (Nagy) Kuzmanovic (Kuzmanovitch) on the morning of Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 89 years.
She immigrated to Canada from Serbia in 1959. She spent most of her life living in Montreal, QC with the last ten years in Calgary, AB.
She loved her family and was a wonderful friend to many. She treasured spending time with her prayer group sharing her commitment to God and her faith.
She enjoyed going on bus tours to Banff National Park and participating in various events at local community centres. She had a passion for cooking and loved watching cooking shows.
Tereza is survived by her sons John, Dan(Carmen) and Georges(Cher); grandchildren Calvin(Angie), Christopher, Eric and twins Mellisa and Mark; her great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jessica; sister Verona(Zvonko) ; nieces Catherine(Robert), Tatjana and Sasha(Jack) ; nephews Robert and Andre.
Tereza was predeceased by her husbands, Milenko and Paul; sister Elizabeth and brother Jozef.
Our family would like to thank Dr. McKenna and the staff at Foothills Medical Centre, the nurses and caregivers at Bow Crest Long Term Care and the staff and residents at Westbourne Seniors Residence for their kindness, support and care they have provided to our mother over the years.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, www.heartandstroke.ca.
There will be a graveside service at the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal QC at the end of August.
