Terence Johnston
1928-2020
While he celebrated a life well lived; we grieve the passing
of Terence, which occurred on April 26, 2020 at his home with his
family by his side. He was born on April 26, 1928 to the late Fulton
Johnston and Rachael Johnston-Blades.
Terry worked for many years at the Port of Saint John. He was
a devoted husband and father, and in his spare time you would catch
him at the local rink coaching the boy’s hockey team.
Following his retirement he enjoyed spending time in his workshop,
turning out many household items for his close friends and family. He
would spend many hours volunteering with the ambulance service on the
Peninsula and with the Chaplain Ministries.
Terence is survived by his loving wife Phyllis; daughters:
Deborah, Sheena (Richard) Daigle; sons: Fred (Wendy), Greg (Paulette),
and Keith (Michelle); sister Lillian Orr; son-in-law Bryan Kilmartin;
close family friend Judith McCrea; as well as several grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his brothers Willard and Robert; sister Ann; daughter

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the
