Obituary for
T. Scott Lynds
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry “Scott” Lynds, age 59 on October 28, 2020. “Scoop” was born in North River and was a son of the late Allen and Kathryn (Blois) Lynds.
Scoop loved sports and dogs. He played fast pitch for the North River Aces and played competitive hockey for many years. His love of dogs made our house a pit stop for every pet on the Gorman Road.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Dobson); daughter, Hannah, who was his pride and joy; his brother, Darren (Jean), North River as well as many nieces and nephews.
Please keep our family in your prayers.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. At Scott’s request, there will be no funeral service. If you wish to honour Scott, donations may be made to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the SPCA.
Online messages of condolence and comfort may be sent to the family by viewing Scott’s obituary at: www.ColchesterCommunity.com
