Obituary of Sylvia Fay Watson
Sylvia passed away in Strathroy, ON., on Saturday October 24, 2020 in her 74th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving children Karen (Michael) Depont and Bonnie (Harding) Kelly, grandchildren Katie, Alexis, Keenen and Keirsten. Sylvia will be fondly remembered by her siblings Mark and Kelly and many family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter, son Brian, parents Halley and Dorothy Aston and sister Susan.
Sylvia will be remembered as a “real crafter”, spending many hours doing crafts for family and friends. Her grandchildren will always appreciate Grandma taking them to the school bus stop every morning for 16 years. Mount Brydges residents will fondly remember Peter and Sylvia owning and operating the New Orleans Pizza for many years.
Sylvia was a longtime member of the Church of Christ in St. Thomas, Craft Leader of the Michigan Christian Youth Camp, Michigan USA, she was a active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, London ON,, a member of the Crochet Club in London, ON. and for 30 years a Girl Guides of Canada Leader and Lambeth Lions member.
The family will remember Sylvia privately at this time, with interment, Mount Brydges Cemetery at a later date.
