Obituary for
Svend Aage Jensen
On February 28, 2020, Mr. Svend Aage Jensen of Mayerthorpe, AB passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years.
Svend will always be loved and remembered by his daughter, Joy; son, Eric (Tracy); grandchildren, Jessica of Sherwood Park, AB, Joel (Melissa) of Kamloops, BC, Maia of Mayerthorpe, AB; great-granddaughter, Peyton of Sherwood Park, AB; brother, Jens Peter; sister, Ragna; and many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, of 52 years, Emily; parents, Johannes and Emilie; sisters, Helga and Gerda.
Svend’s joys in life were his grandchildren and great-granddaughter, all nature, and being in the bush hunting and trapping in Alberta. He was also a dedicated Edmonton Oilers fan, enjoying every game, first on radio broadcasts and later on television.
Thank you to Dr. Naicker and the nursing staff of Mayerthorpe Health Care Centre for the exceptional care and time given to Svend and the family.
A private ceremony will be held.
