It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Gareau-Kubicki on June 19, 2020, with family by her side. Suzanne will be deeply missed and remembered by her loving husband of 36 years, Andy, her caring daughter Caroline and her extended family in central Canada. Suzanne will also be sadly missed by her many friends whom she considered family.
With open arms and a welcoming smile, Suzanne loved to entertain and filled her family home with laughter, music and joy. Her love for and commitment to French language education and the Francophonie inspired a long and successful career. She was a dedicated traveller, choral singer, yoga instructor, knitter and gourmet and book club aficionado.
Given our current context, a small private funeral will be held in the coming days. A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be planned for a later date.
