It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Carol
Kennedy announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in
Fredericton, NB after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, on
Wednesday, October 28 2020, at the age of 60
years. Born in Sus, New Brunswick, on February
23, 1960, she was the daughter of Donald Long and the late Marjorie
Long (nee Gale).
Susan (Sue) will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34
years, Duncan and her children, Kelley, and Carrie (Craig). Sue will
also be fondly remembered by her four grandsons, Ashton, Evan, Dustin
and Ethan; by her father Donald; by her sisters, Nancy and Samantha
(Mike) and by her brothers Charles (Yvonne) and Paul (Cathy). Sue is
also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and
cousins.
Sue was a military wife who took great pride in her home,
deeply loved her family and friends and had a passion for
travel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of
Sue’s life will be held physically and virtually at St
Mary’s Chapel, Champlain St, Oromocto, NB, with Padre
Montgomery officiating at a time to be announced.
Interment will be held at a later date in the family plot at Snider
Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
It is requested that memorial donations in memory of Sue be
made to The Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research. terryfox.org/
