Suddenly at his winter home in Florida on Sunday December 29th, 2019, Steven Lockyer Ward passed away at the age of 69.
Loving husband of Kathleen O’Driscoll and forever proud father of Casey of Picton. Beloved son of the late Jack and the late Ruby Lockyer Ward, and brother of the late Lindsay. Will be missed by his many Lockyer cousins and extended family.
Steven was a golf course and landscape architect designing many projects in Eastern Ontario and around the world. He was an active member of the community, serving many years on the boards of the Prince Edward Children’s Aid Society, Children’s Mental Health Services, and the Picton Golf & Country Club.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 A.M. Deacon Bill Gervais officiating. Reception to follow at the Picton Golf & Country Club. Spring Interment at Glenwood Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated by the family.
Friends may call at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton on Friday afternoon from 2 to 4 and evening from 6 to 8 pm.
