Mr. Steve J. McIntyre, husband of Linda McIntyre of 639 Newcastle Blvd, Miramichi, who passed away Friday January 3, 2020 at Moncton City Hospital, at the age of 57.
Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of Emilda (Sonier) McIntyre and the late Fernand McIntyre. He was a member of Union 325 Pipe Fitters/Plumbers/Welders and also a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
Besides his wife Linda and his mother Emilda, he is survived by one daughter Stacy Cassidy (Bernie) of Moncton, one son Franklin Vickers at home, one sister Lorraine Foran (Late Billy) of Oldfield Road, one brother Dennis Sonier (Kathy) of Burnt Church, two grandchildren Madison and Griffin Cassidy, nephews Kelly Sonier and Cody Foran, nieces Stacey Foran and Chantal Sonier, brother-in-law Stephen Robichaud (Late Pat) and sister-in-law Margaret Ann (Donny).
Besides his father, he was predeceased by nephews Zachary and Derick.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Father Rod Tabilona officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery later in the spring.
