Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sterling Wade Carver announces his unexpected passing on Saturday November 28, 2020 at his residence. Born in Prince Edward Island in April of 1966, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Gallant) Carver. During his working career Sterling was employed as a Red Seal Mason. He was a member of the Brick Layers and Allied Craft Union for over 25 years. In his younger years, Sterling played and coached hockey. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to the Island. Sterling will fondly be remembered for his charm and always being the life of the party. One of his favorite songs was “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and lived every day to the fullest. His favorite quote was “That’s my Boy” whom he was so very proud of.
He is survived by his children Wade (Abby), Chezla (Dan) and Breanna (Toby); step-children Michael, Christine, Lisa-Marie, Justin and Kerstyn; brothers Robert and Stacey Carver; grandchildren Jack, Aria and Brooklyn; nephews Bob and Jeff; nieces Lisa and Jaime and loyal friends Charlene Dow and Rob Crowley.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Nelson and Sheldon Carver; sister Louise Gallant; brother-in-law Judd and sister-in-law Linda.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Private family services will be held in Prince Edward Island at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or any addiction services local charity.
