Surrounded by the love of his family, at his residence, Stephen Joseph Mayorcsak, of Tillsonburg was promoted to glory by our Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, March 04, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Loving soul mate of 67 years to Helen (nee Gehring). Devoted father to Dianne DeLoose and her husband Eddie, Cynthia Smith and her husband Ken. Proud Papa to Lyndsay Wilkinson and her husband Chris, Paul DeLoose and his wife Taylor, Trisha McKenzie and her husband Jay. Doting great Papa to Rylin, Sydney, and Hayden. Brother to Margaret Szucs. Predeceased by his parents Stephen and Helen (nee Kozsan), mother and father-in-law Mary and Henry Gehring, and brother-in-law Steve Szucs. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm with Knights of Columbus prayers at 6:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tillsonburg on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at Tillsonburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church-Building Fund, or the Care Partners would be appreciated by the Mayorcsak family.
