Obituary For Stephanie Elizabeth Marie Hombert
Stephanie Elizabeth Marie Hombert passed away December 16,2020, at Surrey Memorial Hospital after a difficult battle with the Corona Virus.
She was 37 and, although mentally challenged, she had a full life and brought joy and happiness to everyone who met her. She attended special classes at Sands Elementary in Delta and while she was able, she travelled to Disneyland, France, and Hawaii with her parents. Her special treat was pancakes from McDonalds and her favorite pastimes were being in the pool at SunGod in Delta, watching The Wiggles and singing (loudly) Tagalog love songs with her Yaya.
She was predeceased by her Grandpa and Grandma Borody, Grandma Hombert, aunt GloryAnne and her big brother Michael Lang.
She is survived and missed by her mom and dad Serge and Madeline Hombert, her brother Bob (Melanie) Lang, nephew Brody, and nieces Meagan, Mikhaila, and Dayna, plus many cousins, aunts and uncles. And she is missed greatly by her “other momma”, her Yaya Cornelia Dequilla – the kind and loving woman who cared for her for over fourteen years, her Yayo Steve, her almost-sisters Rowshell and Kimberly, and her Ate Jonally Delos Santos.
Our hearts are breaking but it gives us strength to know that Stephanie’s life in Heaven will be joyful and painfree. Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, Catholic internment in Calgary will be delayed until summer.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Stephanie Elizabeth Marie Hombert 27/08/1983 16/12/2020..
