Stanley’s Obituary
ATWOOD, Stanley Mark – 53, Oak Park, passed away March 12, 2020. Born May 20, 1966, he was the son of the late Bruce and Barbara (Wournell) Atwood. Stanley loved hunting, fishing, and was an outdoorsman through and through. He also enjoyed motorcycles, wheelers and fast cars. He was a dog lover. He was an extremely selfless person and would give anything to anyone. He loved children and they loved him. When Stanley couldn’t be found at home, he could always be found at his second home with his special Uncle Ted. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his sisters, Catherine Atwood (Steven); Marilyn O’Connell (Frederick); nieces and nephews, Chris Atwood (Kristen), Sheri Williams (Chad), Jeremy Williams (Kristy), Jessica Madden, Brandon Madden (Skylar), Carrie O’Connell (Morgan); three special great nephews, Nash Atwood, Caden Salsman, Kayleb Williams. Besides his parents, Bruce and Barbara Atwood, he was predeceased by his brother, Douglas Atwood. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the SPCA.
