Obituary of Stanley George Rideout
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley George Rideout of Grand Bank in his 80 year on August 31, 2020.
Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories wife Mildred together 37 years; sons Craig (Lisa) of Paradise, Barry of Mount Pearl, Cory (Catherine) of Paradise; step-daughter Rhonda Follett (Jessy) of NS, step-son Rod Follett (Brenda) of Paradise; daughter-in-law Lainie Stewart of St. John’s; 12 grandchildren Brandon (Meghan), Evan, Elise, Georgia, Thea, Hudson, Stacey, Shawn, Sydney, Rodney, Nicole, Troy & 9 great-grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents George and Lily Rideout, brother Lloyd Rideout.
Visitation will take place at Serenity Funeral Home, 13 Church Street, Grand Bank in keeping with covid 19 regulations there will be a walk thru visitation on Wednesday 2-4pm & 7-9pm for family(with a maximum of 20 people in funeral home). No food or beverages permitted.
Funeral service to take place from Serenity Chapel on Thursday, September 3rd 2020 at 2PM with interment following at United Cemetery, Grand Bank
Donations in his memory may be made to United Cemetery fund Grand Bank or flowers gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
