Obituary
Spencer Harding
It is with great sadness that the family of Spencer Harding, announce his passing on December 10, 2020 at the age of 81 years.
Spencer will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Agnes and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Charlotte and his siblings, sisters Christabel, Eleanor, Marjorie, Margaret, Kay and Jean; brothers Bill, Philip, Jimmy and Martin (assumed).
Spencer was born in St. Andrews, MB and resided in Winnipeg. He worked at Eaton’s in the basement mail order department and moved into the security division later. He then moved to security for the Law Courts Building where he remained until his retirement.
Spencer and Agnes enjoyed many car rides, stopping for a bite to eat and simply being in each other’s company. Spencer will be missed for his sense of humour, teasing and playing jokes. He was a kind man who loved to talk about the old times and shared many stories of his life growing up in St. Andrews that we’ll keep in our hearts and in his memory.
A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. To view the service live the link will be on his obituary at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
