It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Souad Nassif Khouri, age 85, of Sudbury, who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Monday, March 9th, 2020. Born on April 15th, 1934 in Damascus, Syria, to the late Alia and Elias Nassif. Predeceased by her brothers Eid, Joseph, and Nassif. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 68 years, Nicola Khouri, her two brothers George and Nabil Nassif, her four sons Samir Alkhoury (Catherine), George Khouri (Nadia), Milad Khouri (Amal), and Issa Khouri (Nawal), and three daughters Marie Malakieh (Elias), Fadia Aboukassm (Edward), and Loudie Elias (George), as well as her 33 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Souad will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her loved ones, and her life in Canada.
