SLADE MAISIE MIRIAM 2020

July 22, 1936 – April 15, 2020
It is with deep and profound sadness that the family of the late Maisie Slade of St. Anthony announce her sudden, but peaceful passing at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at St. Anthony on April 15, 2020 at the age of 83. Left with a lifetime of precious and lasting memories are her children: Donna Hiscock (Robert), Terry Slade (Caren), Lorne Slade (Carol Ann); four grandchildren: Alison, Heather, Tara, and Jason; seven greatgrandchildren: Ethan, Aaron, Kai, John, Roman, Dominick, and Caroline; sisters-in-law, Pamela Sheppard (John) and Eileen Penney; special friends, Millicent Fowler, Stella Fowler, Hazel Colbourne and a wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick, 2005, and daughter Judy, 2010; parents Willis and Edna Penney, her sister Adelaide, and her three brothers, Fred, Loomis and Steve. Due to COVID-19 Government Regulations, there will be no service at this time, with private interment on Friday, April, 17 at the United Church cemetery at St. Anthony. As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
