1928-2020
Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 at the
Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 92, passed away Mrs.
Simonne Cormier of the Sugarloaf Manor and formerly of Atholville,
wife of the late Cléophas “Cléo”
Cormier. She was the daughter of the late Edna (born
Maltais) and the late Alphonse Roy.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Rhéal
(Monique Noel) of McLeod, Claude (Ernestine Pitre) of Tide Head,
Denise (Donald Duguay) of Campbellton, Hélène
(Claude Bujold) of Ottawa, Michel (Murielle Boudreau) of Atholville,
Gilles (Susan Prentice) of Dieppe and Margot (Gilles Lurette) of
Campbellton; her grandchildren : Nadine, Éric,
Rebecca, Tricia, Gabriel, Sara, Alexandre and
Jérémie; her great grandchildren :
Jordan, Felicity, Nicolas, Brianna, Jessica, Zoé, Kyle,
Anabelle, Lexie-Anne and Ellie-Rose; her sisters &
brothers : Hélène (Roger Dickey),
Claudette (Larry Haggar), Robert (Diane Brunet), Roger
(Hélène Petroni), Claude “Tacou”
(Monique Brindle), Alphonse “Ti-Phonse” (late Micheline
Thibodeau) and Ernest “Ti-Nus” (Nicole Pronovost) also by
many nieces, nephews and
friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Cléophas
“Cléo”, her parents, her brother &
sisters: Ludger (late Marian Doucet, Evelyn Robichaud), Catherine
“Kay” (late Raphael Cyr) and
Germaine.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and social distancing
protocols, there will be no funeral at this time.
