Obituary
Obituary for Siegfried Hans Weber
December 15, 1939 – July 12, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Siegfried Hans Weber announces his passing in New Westminster on Sunday, July 12th at the age of 80. Sig was born in Leipzig, Germany on December 15, 1939 and immigrated to Canada in his early teens. Sig married the love of his life, Pat Jordan, in November 1960. He worked many years in management around the world but his passion was being a missionary in Papua New Guinea and a minister in the New Apostolic Church.
Sig will be loving remembered by his wife of 59 years, Pat and his children, Scott (Karen), Suzanne (Bert) and Heather (Dean). Sig will also be fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren: Rebekah (Ethan), Andrew (Bianca), Benjamin (Rosie), Leanne (Brad), Amie, Daniel, Quinn (Sarah), Jonathan (Jessica), Aaron, Victoria. One of the great joys and blessings of Sig’s life was children, especially his 7 great grandchildren: Zoey, Logan, Samuel, Jaxon, Leah, Penelope and Ezra.
Sig was predeceased by his parents Gretal and Albert Weber and his two brothers Wolfgang and Guenter. He is survived by his youngest brother Bodo.
Sig was a gentle, caring, and thoughtful man. He never hesitated to help others. He left behind a legacy of love, character and faith.
God gave us a gift in Sig for many years but called him home to continue his work in heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
