Sibyl Darlene Sercerchi
1951-2020
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sibyl
Darlene Sercerchi (nee Rasmussen). She passed away peacefully on
January 13, 2020 at the Upper River Valley Hospital surrounded by
family and friends.
Sibyl was born in Bath NB to Clarence Rasmussen and Anna
Stadig on May 18, 1951. She was raised on a farm in Good Corner NB and
was proud member of the class of 69. She was a long time employee of
Day and Ross, but her passion was her career with Pampered Chef. Her
hard work and determination allowed her the opportunity to travel the
world with family and friends who she loved dearly. She will be
remembered as a kind, always positive, vibrant woman who loved life
and lived it to the fullest.
Sibyl is survived by her husband, Ken, sons, Nick (Angela)
and Aaron (Leah), beloved grandchildren, Evan, Ava and Finn, brother,
Christian, brothers in law, Ricky (Dorothy) and Joe (Cathy), Aunt,
Elva Rioux, nieces, nephews and many close cousins.
She is predeceased by her father, Clarence, her mother, Anna
and her brother, Allison Rasmussen.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral
Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road
Jacksonville on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from
St. Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 AM
with Fr. John Jennings. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at a
later date.
In lieu of flowers, Sibyl’s wish was to have
donations made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group.
