SHUPE – Beth Ila, 80, of Charleston, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
Born in Carleton Corner, Beth was a daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Weir) Langley.
Beth was a former CNA working at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. She enjoyed doing crafts and gardening as well as spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, Madison.
Beth is survived by her son Kirk (Amanda) of Charleston, her granddaughter Madison; her sisters Phyllis Nixon of Harbourview Haven, Lunenburg, Ina Langley of Calgary and her brother Lorne of Edmonton.
Besides her parents, Beth was predeceased by her husband Harley, her sister Patricia Kaye and her brother Bev.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. At Beth’s request, there will be a private family graveside memorial service at a later date and time in New Charleston Cemetery. No flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
