Obituary of Shirley Foxton
At Braemar Nursing Home, on Monday, May 11, 2020, Shirley Foxton of Wingham, passed away at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Ted Foxton. Loving mother of Susan & Bob Pipe, Dave & Brenda Foxton and Gary Foxton. Cherished grandma of Jason & Susana, Brian, Matt & Leah, Shaun, Ken & Paige, Jon & Vanessa, Crystal & Chris, Gary & Christina, Sarah & Geoff and great-grandma of eighteen. Shirley was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great-great-grandchild. Dear sister of Dorothy Ruttan and Bill McDougall. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents Leslie & Lillian (née Garniss) McDougall, son Ken Foxton, daughter-in-law Deborah Foxton, granddaughter Tanya, sister Doreen Stacey and brothers Terry, Bob, Harry, Jack and Reg McDougall.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, a private service will take place with interment at Wingham Cemetery on Friday, May 15th, 2020 with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Braemar Nursing Home Resident’s Council or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
