We are sad to announce that Shirley Simms (nee Smith) suddenly passed away in hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her loving husband Gunar, her sons Robert and Marc, her daughter-in-law Tami, her grandchildren Annie and Max, her beloved twin sisters Patricia and Gerry, and her many nieces & nephews and their spouses.
Shirley was always quick with a joke or kind word. She made friends everywhere she went and deeply loved and was loved by those close to her. She will be greatly missed.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service. If you wish, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. The family requests no flowers.
