Shelly’s Obituary
SHELLY, B.E. NICKERSON-BARTLETT – Age 52, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020. She was born August 9, 1968 in Sandy Point to Fred Ashton and Colleen Nickerson. She married Greg Bartlett on October 30, 2010 in Lockeport. Shelly worked as a CCA at Surf Lodge Nursing Home in Lockeport. She would go above and beyond to help any and every one, and was so loving and caring. She loved to spend time with family and friends, which will dearly miss her. She is survived by her son, Tyler, common-law husband, Jerry Parsons, brothers, Harry Nickerson; Richard Nickerson; and Billy Nickerson, sisters, Sylvia Nickerson and Judy Ross, grandchildren Hayden and Olivia, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents Shelly was predeceased by her husband, Greg Bartlett and brother, Johnny Nickerson. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Shelburne. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and all family and friends and anyone she has been kind to will be able to stop by to reminisce, grieve, and just celebrate the life of a wonderful person that left us far too soon. Donations in Shelly’s name can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Association. Condolences for the family can be placed on-line at www.huskilson.net
