Obituary
Suddenly, on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound in her 64th year. Shelley, survived by her partner of 32 years Sheila McGhee. Predeceased by her parents Vince and Leona Keay. Fondly remembered by Sheila’s children Brydon (Shannon), Laurie (Derek), and Robbie; and her niece Jamie and grand niece Kyla of Nipegon. Special Nana to Quinton, Sativa, Lucas and Colin.
Shelley was born, raised and lived in Delaware for 61 years until 2018 when she and Sheila moved to Kincardine. Shelley was a proud 45 year member of the Delaware Legion Br. 598 and a life member of its Auxiliary. She was an avid biker and a member of several clubs. For 18 years Shelley was a bus driver where her smiling face and love of children created many friendships. She enjoyed the hobbies of woodworking and knitting. Hundreds of hats have been donated to the homeless and needy. Many of her friends have been recipients of her scrolling creations. She will be sadly missed by her family, comrades, biker buddies and her many friends.
A special thank you to the surgeons and nurses at the Owen Sound Hospital for their care and compassion.
Donations in memory of Shelley may be made to the Delaware Legion Br. 598 and it’s Ladies Auxiliary or the Anova – Wellington Road Shelter, London.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Shelley’s life will be held at the Delaware Legion at a later date.

    We have been so out of the loop , so sorry to hear of Shelly’s passing just today.
    Our hearts go out to you and your family . Love and hugs Sheila!
    Shelly saved Sam’s life when she was a bus driver for his school . We were so lucky to know her as she was a great lady in our community and at the Legion.
    We will never forget one of the best people we have ever met in Delaware!
