Obituary
Sheila Sepke passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 82 years. She was born on August 11, 1937 in Kelvington, Saskatchewan – the oldest of 11 children born to Sandy and Betty Callander.
They moved to Langruth in 1953 and she married Clifford Sepke in 1954. In 1958 they moved to Stonewall and worked on the Alex Matheson farm for 12 years. In 1968 they returned to Langruth and bought a small farm; during which time she raised 3 children and helped in all aspects of the farm and also drove school bus for many years to help support the family.
In 2005 they sold the family farm and retired to Portage la Prairie. Clifford passed away in 2013 and in 2019, Sheila moved to Winnipeg. Throughout her life, Sheila was active in the community with Royal Purple, the Fall Fair, and 4H. She also enjoyed her gardening, square dancing, knitting and crocheting and short gambling trips around the country. Sheila loved visiting, and baking for friends, grandchildren and relatives.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents Betty and Sandy Callander; husband Clifford; sister Bettyanne; brother Bill and great grandchild Leslie. She is survived by her son Roy (Diana); daughter Elaine (Ken) and son Glen (Cheryl); grandchildren Kindsay, Tara, Kaeleigh (Dwayne), Ashley, Benjamin, Jonah, Simon and Justin; great grandchildren Ethan, Troy, Taysen and Raya; brothers Bob, Warren, Ken and Richard and sisters Merlaine, Margeroie, Sandra and Myrtle.
