SHEILA DENISE MANNING
(NEE DAVISON)
Our Mother, Our Teacher, Our Friend
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother Denise Manning on Friday November 13, 2020, at her home in Winnipeg, at the age of eighty-seven.
She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Robert “Bob” Manning; their four children: Lee (Pat/Ani; Tessa, Katie, Ari, Adalie, Grace), Barbara (Rick; Devon), Glen (Margaret; Ayla, John, Adam), Lisa (Jordi; Alex); her two brothers, Keith (Elinor) Davison, and Brian Davison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Denise was an amazing woman, a wonderful mother, and a beloved grandmother. She had a rewarding and lengthy career in education and inspired many generations to be the best they could. Denise loved reading, learning, and sharing stories, and took great pleasure in her close friendships. Her warmth, humour, and kindness was felt by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Services for Denise shall be deferred to a later date when loved ones and friends can gather to celebrate her life.
The family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Comforts of Home Care, and the WRHA’s PRIME, homecare, and palliative care programs.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Siloam Mission.
Condolences may be sent to www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
