Obituary
Sheila Kathleen MacNamara
Frenchvale, NS
With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Sheila Kathleen MacNamara, age 81 of Frenchvale on Monday, November 30th, 2020.
Sheila was born March 7, 1939 and was the daughter of the late John James and Catherine (MacNeil) MacKinnon of Big Beach. Sheila was a dedicated member of the St. Mary’s Parish, Frenchvale, and a proud member of the Frenchvale Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary, where she took great pleasure in fundraising and friendships. Sheila was thoughtful, kind, loyal, and loved to laugh. She was also fond of crafts and was especially enchanted by nature, interests she lovingly passed on to her children. Later in life, Sheila would relish the adventure of travel with her daughters to Georgia where she made many new friends and memories.
I have your smile,
So sweet and dear.
Your eyes are mine,
So kind and clear.
With your spirit and heart,
I’ve nothing to fear.
Your gift’s my life,
You’re always near.
Sheila is survived by her children Gordie MacNamara, Frenchvale, Brenda (the late Jim) Beaman, Georgia, and Linda (Mark) Presley, Berwick. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Musgrave, sister in-law, Maureen (Francis) Linden, and brother in-law, Thomas (Jenny) McNamara.
