Shediac, NB – Bernard Allain, 80, of Manoir Pascal-Poirier, Shediac, passed away on Thursday, October 8th, 2020, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Alfred and the late Marie (née: Robichaud) Allain.
Prior to retirement, he was an electrician by trade, having work as a salesman with Wesco Distributions. Bernard was a volunteer firefighter for many years and was also a co-founder of “La Cachette” in Saint-Antoine.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jolaine (Gilles) Gallant of Shediac; his grandchildren: Patrick (Danie) and André (Josée); his sister, Jeanne Melanson of Moncton; his nephews: Gerald (Christine) Melanson and Daniel (Louise) Melanson; his great-niece, Sophie and his great-nephew, Mathieu.
A private visitation and funeral will be held, everyone attending the private visitation and funeral service will be mandated to wear a mask.
Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
